The other day there was a press release posted about The Indie Authority that read
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
November 27, 2016
Internet radio station to close
The Indie Authority & Livewire with Lady Spitfire
SCRANTON, PENNSYLVANIA, November 27, 2016– The Indie Authority, and Livewire with Lady Spitfire have decided that the time has come to move on to new ventures. For Lucia Piccolino it is the end of an era. For over three years Lucia has been working very diligently promoting the Indie Music scene through her radio show, and eventually her own radio station.
After thinking long and hard, she felt that the time is now to call it quits with internet radio, although the shows and station are ending Lucia’s passion and dedication to promoting the Indie Music scene will continue full steam ahead.
Lucia is NEPA’s new licensee for Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Day In & Night Out and provides musicians and bands with a free profile as well as listing of shows online and on the My Night Out App. Lucia has already begun to see a large success and is eager to dedicate all of her attention to her new venture. So in closing, although The Indie Authority and Livewire with Lady Spitfire have come to an end you can still catch Lucia doing her with Day In & Night Out and be sure to check out The Adventures of Spitfire and Kickazz on Facebook!

So with that both The Indie Authority and Livewire with LadySpitfire (everything) that goes with it is gone. I am done doing radio. The ride has been nice for 5 years, but I honestly don’t have the heart to do it anymore. There are ALOT of other reasons that I will not go into, I am sure that those of you who know me know what they are, but oh well, Towel Thrown.
